Dining set buying guide

Choose the seating capacity without crowding the room.

Start by measuring the dining area and allowing space for chairs to pull out comfortably. A four-seater may suit a compact apartment or breakfast area, while six- and eight-seater layouts need more clearance around the table. The table shape also matters: rectangular designs make efficient use of longer rooms, while round or softer-edged tables can support conversation and movement in more compact spaces.

Consider how often the table is used and whether it needs to support everyday meals, visitors, homework or entertaining. Chair comfort, surface durability and the relationship between the table height and seat height all affect how practical the set feels. For a custom order, MonDee can discuss the number of seats, table dimensions, chair style, colour and finish before confirming the quotation.

If the dining space is part of an open-plan living room, coordinate the finish with nearby pieces rather than treating the table as an isolated item. You can compare coffee tables, TV stands and sofas to create a more consistent look. Share your room measurements and delivery location when enquiring so the final specification and delivery arrangement can be discussed before payment.
